School Direct Route (Tuition Fee)

As a school direct trainee you have an opportunity to be more specific about where you would like to train and potentially work as a newly qualified teacher.

As a school direct trainee you are able to select a lead school where you will spend the majority of the year working within that school and their locally based cluster schools. 

Although your training is based in a school, they’re not your employers, and your training will be the same as a provider led place. You’ll pay fees, but you might be eligible for funding through tuition fee loans or training bursaries.
