We would like to welcome you to High Force Education our School Centred Initial Teacher Training provider.
High Force Education is validated by Northumbria University, it is a partnership of schools working together to provide a one-year Initial Teacher Training course offering both school direct and provider led places. Our partnership schools run the course and their teachers deliver the course, ensuring that you have the most up to date delivery possible and are perfectly prepared for life in the classroom.
Providing you with high quality teaching and learning opportunities and experiences is our top priority. We want you to succeed and it is our prime aim to make you highly effective emergent teachers at the end of the year.
We support you in every step of your journey to be a teacher with a dedicated Professional Tutor and a mentor in every school you are placed in. Being a small provider means that all our staff are accessible and trainees feel well supported and listened to.
Our course is based at Green Lane CE Primary School and recognised as an outstanding provider by Ofsted. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in addition to the award of a Post Graduate Certificate of Education (PGCE) with 60 masters credits accredited by Northumbria University.
