The course is full time and is in line with a school year from September- July (42 weeks). On successful completion of the course you would be awarded the PGCE with QTS along with 60 masters credits.

The programme is structured around four distinct, but inter-related modules. The various elements will enable trainees to meet all the standards for the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The four modules are:

  • Reflective Professional Studies
  • Curriculum Studies
  • Critical Curriculum Studies
  • Schools Placement: Students will undertake two assessed placements in consortium schools in addition to their ongoing school-based experience.
